This Ground Mount Solar Kit for DIY does not include the 1.5″ galvanized pipe (for the support structure) or the bare ground wire.

Typical installation requires and area of approximately 12′ x 55′ for the array.
There are two rows of poles spaced approximately 9 ft apart, each row has poles at 6-8ft intervals. The poles are secured with at least 12″ x 30″ of concrete footings.
Tee fittings are positioned atop the vertical support poles, with horizontal pipe
segments inserted to create the support needed by the solar rails. The rails
span low-to-high, supporting the solar modules. Clamps are used to secure the modules to the support rails.
The solar modules are connected in daisy-chain fashion, to create a series string of 10 modules. 30 modules enables creation of strings. The final connection of the two end wires for each string is routed to the inverter using the “home run” wires.
The inverter can be attached to the array support structure (steel strut is recommended but not provided in kit).
