Made-to-order protective net to minimize damage to rooftop solar array caused by falling items, such as golf balls and acorns. Support anchors are required at 6-8 ft intervals around periphery. Adjustable tensioners are required to draw net tight above the solar modules. Special reinforcing cords are embedded to provide extra strength.
Net will not be effective against heavy objects like rocks and falling tree branches.
This #18 net has is designed to block golf balls in flight, but not overly degrade solar energy. Size is customized per customer order, and dimensions must be specified at time of purchase. Net color can be white or black. Net-induced losses are lower for white color (typically 5% less losses)
Price is based on 200sq ft units. For example, if actual array size is 20x30ft, making the total area 600sq. ft, then the purchase quantity must be quantity of 3.
