Side Yard Solar single-module solar frame for use with virtually any size solar panel module.  Unique design can be assembled by hand, with no need for hand tools. Components are slip-inserted  together.

This galvanized steel structure can accept any solar module, of either 60 or 72 cell format(module not included). Distance between high and low side is 4 feet. Single slope positions solar modules to capture full daytime sunlight.

Multiple frames can be used to create larger arrays.

Each frame requires 8 solar module clamps(optional) to secure modules to frame members.

When the solar module is attached, the support frame components  are locked in place, and cannot separate.  Optionally no-screw rivets can be installed to create iron clad strong supports.

For expansion, this Side Yard Solar Rack system can coupled together by adding linking bars to neighboring supports.

For simple assembly, SunnyCal Sola-Clamps(patent pending) can be used to mount  solar panels directly to the support legs. These optional clamps work with virtually any size solar module.

Clamps attach using self-drilling screws.

Rack can be protected against wind uplift and theft by use of ballast blocks, ground screws or clamps.

  • Rack can be preassembled for will-call (sections can be transported using normal pickup or trailer).   Segments can be shortened for shipping; splices are provided for insertion during assembly.
  • Hold down can by ballast blocks, rebar-nails, concrete attachment or ground screws
  • System can be expanded by adding additional sections, joined together by link tubes
