Description
Aluminum roof jack for use in supporting solar rails or direct-attach solar-to-go clamps. Designed to be used with appropriate roof sealant (butyl is best).
Roof jack can be attached into a rafter using the 4-in lag bolt, or can be attached in the sheeted field of the roof using the four 2-inch lag bolts(stainless lags are included). Sheeting must be at least 3/8-inch. Care must be taken not to over-torque lags and strip the hole. If hole is stripped, insufficient pressure could cause poor sealing against the roof surface.
Footprint is 3″ x 3″. Height is 0.75″ Center hole is threaded, four lag holes are smooth. Surface is powder coated for durability.
In applications where the four lags are used for roof attachment, the center hole can be used as an anchor base. The center hole has 10mm threads for a 1-inch bolt(included).
