Description
Tall support structure for Solar-To-Go solar array for simple pick-and-place installation. This system can accept 90 inches of solar modules(modules not included). For larger arrays, solar rails can be added perpendicular to the support legs. This is a support structure and inverter only. Modules are not included.
Distance between tall and short legs is 8 feet. Single slope for optimal south-facing array. Width space between support legs can be adjusted to 6 ft to match solar module dimensions This Solar-To-Go Rack system can expanded by adding additional sections. Additional structures can be attached to existing sections with a slip-and-screw fitting method.
For simple assembly, SunnyCal Sola-Clamps(patent pending) can be used to mount solar panels directly to the support legs. These optional clamps work with virtually any size solar module.
Clamps attach using self-drilling screws.
Rack can be protected against wind uplift and theft by use of SunnyCal Ground Screws. A simple impact tool can provide more than 300lbs of hold-down strength.
The sections can be held in place by SunnyCal ground screws for rapid installation.
Alternatively, cinder blocks can be used as ballast to prevent uplift by wind.
Rack can be bolted directly to shipping container rooftop edges using angle leg foundations (specified at with order.)
Solar is made simple by:
- Rack can be preassembled for will call, or bundled in shortened format for shipping. (Sections can be transported using normal pickup or trailer)
- Can be specified to have leg foundations for surface resting or shipping container attachment
- Hold down can by ballast blocks, rebar-nails, concrete attachment or ground screws
- System can be expanded by adding additional sections, joined together by link tubes
- Engineering calculations available(optional)
- Optional clamps are available to match user’s solar panels.
- Home-Grid inverter is included. Inverter can offset 2000W of household load (assuming 550W modules). 12ft of 30A cord is included.
Note, if home consumption is less than solar generation, local utility may require net metering program due to excess energy back feed to utility.
